The History of the OneFrame Wall
It all began with a clear vision from our founder, Michael Wolf: a wall solution capable of everything that wood construction demands of a modern partition wall—sound insulation and fire protection of the highest standard, combined with sustainability, a sleek design, and quick installation. A true “jack-of-all-trades,” as they say in Bavaria.
One thing was clear from the start: PhoneStar was to be the centerpiece of this solution. The proven acoustics of our system formed the foundation upon which everything else was built. But even we were surprised by just how well the finished wall actually performs. In a direct comparison with solid-core construction, OneFrame-Wall achieves results we wouldn’t have expected in this form—results that demonstrate just how capable modern timber construction can be.
This development has resulted in a system that now provides carpentry shops with a solution that allows them to view sound insulation and fire protection not as a compromise, but as the standard.
